Both of the Talon UTVs provide a similar riding experience with a slight difference in price, performance, and size. The Talon 1000R measures in at 68.4'' wide while the Talon 1000X is 64'' wide. The 1000R rear suspension offers 4+ link trailing arm and 20.1'' of travel. The 1000X offers 3 link trailing arm and 15.1'' of travel. One way to think about the options is that the 1000R is higher performing and ideal for utility purposes, while the 1000X is more sporty and ideal for recreational purposes.
Performance
Get ready for heart-pounding excitement with these utility vehicles! The 999cc liquid-cooled engine provides the power and torque you crave while staying responsive in the lower revs and mid range. The Unicam cylinder head design is pulled from the company's competitive motocross bike line, giving you a more compact design leading to better weight distribution and improved ground clearance. The roller-tip rocker arms decrease friction, generate faster revs, and lead to a more optimized engine performance. Bottom line is that these UTVs are ready to tear up any dirt trail you throw their way.
